OBS In Person Breastfeeding Support Sessions

We are delighted to be running four in-person sessions again. Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential (see our Calendly page below). If you arrive without booking a place you may be turned away. Bookings open 10 days before each session. If there are no places available in the next 10 days Calendly will give the message "No times in" the current month. If you don't get a space straight away, please try again, as they often become available nearer the time.

If you are not able to book a slot in our in person support sessions, you may be able to book a virtual 1:1 consultation.

On Mondays, in conjunction with Didcot Baby Monday, which offers a social space and other activities for parents, including refreshments, we're in Didcot.  On Tuesdays we're at the Barton Community CentreOn Wednesdays we're at the Kidlington Hub. On Fridays, we're at Donnington Doorstep Family Centre on Fridays. Please book via the Calendly listings below.

Please book in slots at our in person sessions via our Calendly page below

You are welcome to arrive at any time during the session and to chat to other families and our volunteers before/after you have spoken to the facilitator. The earlier you can arrive, the more feeding support you are likely to get.

Due to Covid restrictions, we need to keep the number of people in the room to the minimum. It is fine to bring a partner/supporter and toddler if you need to, but please do not bring people who do not need to come!

We aim to see families in the order in which they arrive, but we may need to prioritise if babies are distressed, ready/ not ready to feed etc. Thank you for your understanding about this. If you will need to leave before the end of the session, please let us know on arrival.

We will keep windows and doors open to improve ventilation. Please dress in layers and/or bring a blanket because it may be quite cold. We know this can be very difficult for those recovering from birth and struggling to latch small babies and we hope this won't be necessary for much longer.

We are not able to provide feeding pillows or toys at the moment - you are welcome to bring your own.

Masks need to be worn at all times unless you have an exemption. Please bring your own.

Please complete our Data Collection Form as soon as possible after booking. This will save time and enable us to support you effectively on the day of your visit.

We collect this information in order to comply with requirements of funders and to help us look at equity of access/accessibility for all local families/service users who need our services. Your data will be kept confidential and treated with respect. If you need help filling in the form, one of our team may be able to help you when you arrive, depending on current covid-19 restrictions.

If you are unable to attend after all, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING as places at this session are very limited and this may enable another family to attend.
