OBS In-Person Breastfeeding Support Sessions

We run five in-person sessions a week. All our in-person sessions are wheelchair accessible.

• On Tuesdays we are at the Barton Community Centre, Underhill Circus, Headington, Oxford OX3 9LS
• On Wednesdays we are at the Kidlinks Community Hub, St John The Baptist Hall, The Broadway, Kidlington, OX5 1DD
• On Thursdays
  • we are at the Old Schoolhouse (on Hertford St where it meets Percy St, Oxford OX4 3AJ, come in the main door and turn right)
  • we alternate weeks between Windale Primary School (Windale Avenue, Oxford, OX4 6JD) and John Henry Newman Primary Academy (Grange Rd, Littlemore, OX4 4LS)
• On Fridays, we're at the Didcot Library (Upstairs at 197 Broadway, Didcot, OX118RU)

Please book via the Calendly listings below. 

Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential for most of our sessions (see our Calendly page below). If you arrive without booking a place you may be turned away. Bookings open 10 days before each session except for our sessions in The Leys and Littlemore as these run on alternate weeks. If there are no places available in the next 10 days Calendly will give the message "No times in" the current month. If you don't get a space straight away, please try again, as they often become available nearer the time. Remember that you can also ask your midwife or health visitor for breastfeeding help. 

After you have booked

Please complete our data collection form before attending the appointment. There will be a link to this in your booking confirmation email. We collect this information in order to comply with requirements of funders and to help us look at equity of access/accessibility for all local families/service users who need our services. Your data will be kept confidential and treated with respect. If you need help filling in the form, one of our team may be able to help you when you arrive. 

Please have your baby's red book with you when you attend your appointment.

Some session bookings have been divided into two slots. You are welcome to arrive at any time during your slot and to chat to other families and our volunteers before/after you have spoken to the facilitator. The earlier you can arrive, the more feeding support you are likely to get.

We aim to see families in the order in which they arrive, but we may need to prioritise if babies are distressed, ready/ not ready to feed etc. Thank you for your understanding about this. If you will need to leave before the end of the session, please let us know on arrival.

If you are unable to attend after all, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING as places at this session are very limited and this may enable another family to attend.
